Dance to your health.
That was the motto at the Adamsville Primary School's annual Healthy Heart Dance on Thursday evening, February 19.
The festive night was led by the Adamsville Health and Physical Education Teachers, Jenna Ostrowski, Jim Casey, Rob Chartowich, and Joe King.
The teachers guided students and families through dances that were taught earlier in Physical Education class, inviting students up on stage to dance in the all-purpose room.
The event, in partnership with the American Heart Association, focused on promoting healthy hearts and encouraging students to eat nutritious foods and stay active. Healthy treats were available, and families could also participate in yoga to relax and recharge.
“It was a wonderful night, and it’s always a fun event for our school community,” said Mr.King.
Overall, it was an excellent evening celebrating wellness and school spirit.
