winterfest

A winter wonderland was enjoyed on the evening of Friday, December 12, at the Adamsville Primary School.

Adamsville held its highly attractive Winterfest, which once again drew a large gathering of staff, students, and families.

The spearhead behind this lively event was Andrea O’Brien, the enthusiastic Adamsville PTO President.

“ Adamsville’s Winterfest was “Snow” much fun! The students enjoyed listening to some of Adamsville’s wonderful teachers and Principal, Dr. James Singagliese, read winter and holiday-themed stories throughout the night, all cozied up in their PJ’s. Snacks and hot cocoa were delicious and devoured while decorating cookies and making winter-themed crafts,” Ms. O’Brien reported.

She further shared the activities of the night.

“ Families had the opportunity to take pictures with the beautiful photo backdrops, capturing moments and memories together. They also had the chance to shop in the book fair, which was hustling and bustling all night,” Ms. O’Brien stated. “Even our school mascot, Spirit the eagle, flew in to check out the fun and excitement and spend some time saying hi to our students and families! The night ended with an appearance from Frosty the snowman, who shared some yummy candy canes with the kids and families.”

Principal Dr. Singagliese offered his review of this fun evening

“Adamsville students, their families, and staff gathered last Friday night (December 12) in their coziest pajamas and warmest sweaters in the APR, which was transformed into a wintry night in Aspen,” he said. “Everyone enjoyed listening to stories read by their favorite teachers while savoring snacks, hot chocolate, crafts, and shopping. A special thank you to Adamsville’s PTO for organizing this wonderful event.”

Ms. O’Brien added:

“ It was a wonderful event and book fair and it couldn’t have happened without our incredible volunteers, teachers, staff and the generous donations collected!”
