Adamsville Primary School would like to congratulate our Governor Educator of the Year Award Winner, Jennifer Consomer, and our Educational Services Professional, Patrick Blood.
Jennifer Consomer exemplifies the qualities of an outstanding educator and individual. As a Special Education teacher in a third-grade co-teaching classroom, she is dedicated to meeting her students’ academic and behavioral needs. Jen works closely with the Child Study Team, fellow Special Education teachers, and the school Behaviorist to support students facing challenges. Her collaborative spirit, openness to new strategies, and commitment to continuous learning reflect her flexibility, professionalism, and genuine care for her students’ growth and well-being.
Jen’s dedication reaches far beyond her classroom and into the Adamsville community. She is a humble, compassionate educator whose quiet leadership and steady commitment leave a lasting impact on students, colleagues, and families. As an active member of the Adamsville Cares Committee, she helps coordinate the Backpack Program, which provides weekend meals for families in need, and organizes winter coat collections for students. She also contributes her time and enthusiasm to the Spirit Committee, planning monthly breakfasts, sending reminders, and supporting school-wide events that foster connection and positivity among staff.
Mr. Patrick Blood has served as a paraprofessional in the BRRSD for over three years. Most recently, he has supported our preschool ABA program at Adamsville, working closely with some of our youngest and most vulnerable learners. His positive attitude and energetic presence are immediately felt when he enters a classroom, and students are naturally drawn to him. Patrick has a remarkable ability to anticipate and prevent potential challenges, helping both students and colleagues stay focused on building the skills children need to thrive.
Beyond the classroom, Patrick has directed Hillside’s Drama Program for the past four years, bringing creativity and enthusiasm to students’ artistic experiences. He also works with the BR Cares after-school program, using that time to build strong relationships with students across the entire school, not just in preschool.
