Singer, Calistri and Li win seats on the board of education

 

 Incumbent Steven Singer and newcomers Emily Calistri and Langfang “Lucy” Li have been declared the unofficial winners to fill the three seats on the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional Board of Education.

The Somerset County Clerk’s Office released the unofficial results from Election Day Tuesday, November 8.

According to the updated results on the morning of Wednesday, November 9, Ms. Calistri recorded the highest amount of votes with 6,871 while Mr. Singer, who is presently the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional Board of Education President, followed with 5,763 votes and Ms. Li received 5,049.

The other incumbent who was running, Lynne Hurley, recorded 4,165 votes. The other candidates and their tallies were Sally Bartlett, who gained 4,140, June Wang, who received 4,115 and Saad Toor, who had 2,660.

Mr. Singer, Ms. Calistri and Ms. Li will fill three-year full-term seats representing Bridgewater.

According to the Somerset County Clerk’s Office, mail-in ballots can still arrive by November 14 and a final certification must be completed by November 26.
