School administrators promote job fair March 30

The Central to Jersey Program for the Recruitment of Diverse Educators (CJPRIDE) will serve as the host to  its annual Job Fair (virtual) from 4 p.m.to 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2023.  

All individuals seeking employment in education are encouraged to participate in the virtual event. To complete the online application, candidates must pre-register by visiting www.cjpride.com

Michelle Munley, who is the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District's Manager of Human Resources, is promoting this job fair along with Dr. Dan Fonder, who is the Assistant Superintendent for Personnel for the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District.

“CJPride is a consortium of New Jersey school districts who strive to increase the diversity of their staff and to attract the best teachers throughout the state,” said Ms. Munley. “Dan (Fonder) and I are participating, along with other administrators, in their job fair on March 30."

CJPRIDE is a consortium of 80 school districts representing 19 of the 21 counties in New Jersey. The consortium actively seeks candidates from underrepresented groups to serve our diverse students in districts statewide. 

The CJPRIDE virtual fair is an excellent opportunity for job seekers to meet with school administrators from several New Jersey public school districts. 

CJPRIDE is governed by an executive board; President Charity Comella, West Windsor Plainsboro Regional School District; Vice President Jennifer Sharp, Freehold Regional School District; and Secretary Kelly Mattis, Montgomery Township School District.  

In addition to being the host to an annual career fair, CJPRIDE members have committed to enhancing employment opportunities in New Jersey public schools.   The group meets monthly as a consortium and works in a committee-style format.
