Dear Parents / Guardians;
Welcome to Adamsville School and the 2022-2023 school year! We hope everyone enjoyed the summer months and we are excited to start the year. We will continue to work together with a focus on safety and instilling a lifelong love of learning in your child(ren). Arrival/Dismissal Presentation
First Two Days of School - Student Name Tag
The first day for students is Wednesday, September 7, 2022. For more information on calendar events throughout the year click the link provided.
In order to help our youngest learners quickly find their homeroom and teacher it would be helpful for them to come to school the first couple of days with a name tag. See linked example of a student name tag that includes student first and last name and teacher name - Student Name Tag
PowerSchool Parent Portal
As previously stated, the Parent Portal will be open for parent viewing by August 26, 2022, at 4 PM. Parents with students new to the district, will be receiving an email with instructions on creating a Parent Portal account.
Open House
Adamsville will be hosting an Open House, in-person for all students and parents on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, from 2:00 - 3:00 PM. You may enter through the main doors or back foyer doors (shown on attached map or the link Open House Info ) at the designated time. Staff members will be in the hallways to assist you.
Back to School Night
Adamsville School will host its annual Back to School Night in-person for all parents on the following dates and times below. All BTSN’s will begin with a presentation by the principal in the APR (entrance back of the school). Following the presentation, you will be able to meet your child’s teacher and walk the grounds.
Monday, September 12, 2022, starting at 6:30 PM PreK through Gr. 1
Wednesday, September 14, 2022, starting at 6:30 PM Gr. 2 through Gr. 4

Reporting Your Child’s Absence
If your child is going to be late to school or absent for any reason, please notify the school using this link - Absence Reporting , send an email to Adamsvilleabsences@brrsd.org or call the Attendance Line at 908-526-6440 by 8:15AM.
‘Bell’ Schedule

8:55 AM - 3:15 p.m. Instructional School Day

8:45-8:55 AM is Homeroom: Students are required to be in their homeroom by 8:55 AM everyday to meet for a morning meeting and attendance.

3:05-3:15 PM is End of the Day Closure: Teacher will be available to answer student questions at the end of the day.
Each day students will follow a daily schedule that will include at least one related art class (music, P.E., art, library, technology) and each of their core classes. Specifics about arrival and dismissal procedures will be sent at a later date.
