Adamsville students learn valuable lessons during the "NED Show"

Adamsville Primary School students received some sound advice during an assembly that was held this spring.

On Thursday, April 6, Adamsville School held an assembly titled “The NED Show” sponsored by the Educational Foundation of Bridgewater-Raritan.

The word NED stands for, Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best, which signifies the attributes at Adamsville.

Students are encouraged to be kind, work hard and to never give up each and every day.  Students in K-3 enjoyed watching and participating in the NED show.  It included a story line about Ned while showcasing yo-yo tricks to emphasize the show’s message.

The importance of the yo-yoing is that it is not easy to learn tricks.  Students should  keep trying even when they make mistakes.

Everything is a learning process and students should never want to give up.

At the conclusion of the show, Adamsville PTO purchased a yo-yo for each student.  Students were so excited to go home and try out their new tricks.
